The Last Beach Pics of Summer

Enjoy these last pictures of summer at the Outer Banks, NC.
These shots were taken on August 31, 2010
as hurricane Earl loomed on the near-horizon.
We are among the thousands trying to make the
wisest decision about if and when to leave.
Give us wisdom, Lord!
(Please read my closing at the end of the pictures.)

We do NOT own this house! Isn't it pretty... & HUGE!

Hope your summer was a happy and fun-filled one!
Be on the look-out for a contest & give-away on
my website, here on my Blog, & on my FB page.
A big 'Reveal' will be made at the same time.

I am SO ready for Fall.
Are you?
(Please feel free to share a thought in your comment)
Blessings on you & yours!

I kind of wish we were heading into Fall again over here because I don't like hot weather but today is the first day of Spring and the weather was magnificent!

Hope your Fall days are beautiful.

Best wishes,

Hello, sweet Mary, your pictures are wonderful. Yes, I am ready for fall. I took the cats outside this morning, here in Georgia, and I had to wear a jacket! Ginger

What absolutely beautiful photos!! I love the sunsets, kayaks and beach. Good luck with whatever your decision is ... I hope Earl misses you. We're in CT and waiting to see if it will actually get this far.
